Write for us

We welcome pitches that help readers understand one specific part of motorsport: a circuit feature, a race format, a design principle, a piece of racecraft or the work behind a team decision. The strongest proposals offer a clear question and a useful answer that can last beyond one event.

What makes a strong pitch

Send a short outline explaining the subject, the central idea, why it interests racing readers and what makes your approach distinct. Tell us which series or context the pitch concerns when that distinction matters. We look for precise, original work that explains its terms, separates fact from interpretation and does not depend on unsupported claims, invented access or predictions.

The kinds of work we consider

We consider explanatory features, thoughtful comparisons, histories of racing ideas and reader-focused pieces that make a complex element easier to follow. A useful pitch stays within a manageable scope and gives readers a clear way to think about the subject. We do not seek copy that disguises promotion as independent analysis.

How to send it

Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Include a working title and a concise pitch; please do not send a complete article unless requested. A proposal is not a promise of publication, and we will discuss any further steps if a pitch is a fit.
